According to NBC News, a U. S. counter-terrorism source has stated that the preliminary investigation of the Tsarnaev Brothers’ phones and computers has not shown any indication that they had an accomplice. The source stressed that the investigation is ongoing but they appear to be increasingly confident that the brothers acted alone.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is awake and talking to investigators. He has stated that they found the instructions for the pressure-cooker bombs from an Al Qaeda sponsored online magazine and that they were motivated by a desire to defend Islam. ?The online magazine, Inspire, has twice included instructions for making bombs with pressure cookers.
