Richard Cash Courts Tea Party To Oust Senator Lindsey Graham

But, by embracing the Tea Party and its values, he might get more than he bargained for … and wind up far worse off when election day rolls around.

South Carolina Republican Richard Cash hopes to oust Lindsey Graham from his Senate seat, and is courting the Tea Party to do it. According to an article in The State, Richard Cash told a crowd he “looks for inspiration to more Tea Party-friendly senators such as Ted Cruz of Texas, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Mike Lee of Utah, as well as former South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint.” For those of you not familiar with these Senators — here is a quick summary of?some of the special qualities they possess that might inspire a young republican like Richard Cash: Loyalty, fiscal responsibility, humility, and preparedness.

Unfortunately,?by embracing the Tea Party and its values,?Cash might get more than he bargained for … and wind up far worse off when election day rolls around.

Loyalty

In a Huffington Post article, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas promised shortly after the Sandy Hook shooting,?where?twenty students and six adults were killed, to do “everything in his power to?stop the administrations push for stricter legislation” regarding gun control.?Which makes?sense since Senator Cruz?is one of the top recipient’s of monies from gun rights sources on opensecrets.org. Senator Cruz’s loyalty to gun rights activists at any cost– even children’s lives–?could be a source of inspiration for Richard Cash.

Fiscal Responsibility

After receiving loyalty from Senator Cruz, Richard Cash can look to Senator Rand Paul for fiscal responsibility.?In a July 28th, 2013 article?in?The Huffington Post, ?Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) responded in an argument with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie:

“They’re precisely the same people who are unwilling to cut the spending, and their `Gimme, gimme, gimme ? give me all my Sandy money now.'” Paul said, referring to federal funding after the hurricane last year. “Those are the people who are bankrupting the government and not letting enough money be left over for national defense.”

Another great source of inspiration–save money anyway you can– even at the expense of hurricane victims.

Humility

Poor Mike Lee?(R) of Utah, had his recent legislation to shut the government down if it does not take out funding for “Obamacare”, called the “dumbest idea” by fellow party member Richard Burr (R) N.C. This could inspire Richard Cash to be humble.

Preparedness

Last, but certainly not least, is former South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint. Who according to an article in Politico was accused? in 2010?of ?” using his political action committee known as the Senate Conservatives Fund to? prop up scores of primary candidates”.?Richard Cash?already has a backup plan?since the Tea Party has not backed a candidate yet.?This plan?is starting early and?using the momentum?that has been created by the group ?Carolina Conservatives; who want Senator Lindsey Graham out of office.

Fight For What You Want

Basically Richard Cash is a lot like the school yard bully, he waited till fellow Republican Lindsey Graham is down,?to attempt grouping ?together with the bigger kids like the Tea Party,??hoping to give?Sen. Graham?a great big proverbial?kick in the a**, he will be loyal? if it benefits him financially, and he will help those in need if the?popular kids?agree. However the Tea Party may not be the big kid that Richard Cash?to win the?election and really?may only help him with a small percentage of the vote. ? A Huffington Post article from June,?offers some insight into republican feelings on the Tea Party, when?it published an article on Senator Lamar Alexander and what he had to say about Tea Party protests over his vote on immigration reform,??I didn’t hear anything they said,” Alexander told Politico. ?They were a mile away. They were enjoying their First Amendment rights, and I was enjoying playing ‘Johnny B. Goode’ with Mike Huckabee.? This has got to be one of the greatest republican moves ever–drowning out the Tea Party with Chuck Berry. Let the Tea Party have?Richard Cash, let Richard Cash aspire to reach his goals of leaving people homeless, giving everyone guns and not co-operating with his own party. Let him have the Tea Party.

For the rest of America, I suggest taking something from the republican playbook and next time someone from the Tea Party or any other conservative Christian organization starts to blab its useless nonsense to you — Turn up the radio, kick back, and enjoy some good old American rock-n-roll or anything you find inspirational.
