Sean Hannity, The Voice Of Sanity? Yes, It Really Is Happening.

Sean Hannity is one of the most vocal and vile right-wing voices, but he is right on one issue: John Boehner is not fit to be Speaker of the House. In a rant from Hannity’s radio show, he seems more disgusted than usual, but he lashed out at Republicans this time. ?Media Matters posted a portion from The Sean Hannity Show on their website.?Hannity says in almost a defiant child-like way:

?Is it time for a third party? I dunno, maybe it is.?

Sean Hannity seems to be leading up to what the rest of the news is talking about; the Tea Party forming an actual political party. The Tea Party wants to start separating themselves from the GOP establishment because they feel they are the answer to all of America’s problems. What the Tea Party neglects to remember is that America has 99 problems and they represent at least 80 of them.?Hannity goes on to say:

?They [Republicans] are alienating the Tea Party with the likes of John McCain and Bob Croker fighting them.?

Hannity seems to be in all his glory because the elected officials who represent the Tea Party are seen as martyrs with their base.

The problem is that they are so stuck in their own little bubble. They cannot understand that they are the minority voice in this country. Just because they are the ones that speak the loudest does not mean they are speaking for the rest of America.

In all actuality though, the Tea Party should be allowed to form a political party. That would not only disrupt the Electoral College, it would completely fracture and possibly dismantle the Republican Party. The Republicans would lose their die-hard bases that are now more aligned with Tea Party values, and since the Republicans have been pushing Tea Party agendas to avoid a primary, they have also neglected the rest of the average Americans.

Even though Liberals are sometimes angry with the likes of the moderate Democrats, they still remain loyal to the Democrats when Election Day comes around. So you have a unified Democratic Party and a fractured Republican Party when it is all said and done.

*On a personal note; I say let’s raise our glasses and drink some tea!
