Man Imprisoned For Calling Conservative Racist ‘Fancy Pants’

Ok, so maybe the headline is a tad misleading, but do not fret, the actual story is just as unbelieveable. 38-year-old, Michael Pullen, from Dry Ridge, KY, has been dubbed the, “Robin Hood of pranksters” by his lawyer. The prosecution has a much less romantic alias, labeling him a “cyberbully.”

Pullen was found guilty of violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, for hacking into the accounts of SodaHead.com users and replacing, what Pullen describes as, “racist and homophobic”, comments with post such as, “I’m super fancy, why don’t you call me fancy pants?”.

(Excuse me while I delight in that for a moment….)

Ok, back to work.?Pullen said:

“I would go there (SodaHead.com) and poke holes in their arguements.”

He claims to? have only targeted accounts of people who expressed intolerance of others. Pullen defends his actions by stating:

“They were saying these devious, dastardly things like, ‘I can’t wait for the second Civil War so I can shoot me a liberal.”

Pullen goes on to say that he only hacked accounts for a couple weeks and, “it was all meant to be funny.”

I get it Micheal, but here’s a tip: CONSERVATIVE RACIST=NO FUN ZONE. They are notorious fun-suckers, and yes also are morally bankrupt, and economically delusional, but I doubt I need to tell you that. That is not to say I am not reveling in your boldness. However, you have crossed the line and must pay, and pay you will. In addition to the prison term of 5 months and a 2 year probation, Pullen must pay 21,000 buckaroos in restitution to SodaHead.com for, according to Authur Clements, a contracted employee of the social networking site, potentially “killing the business.” ?Paying this could be difficult for Pullen to actually pulloff, considering he has been laid off from his job since 2009.

Now I may be behind on the times, and please correct me if I am mistaken, but who and what is SodaHead.com? I know it is a social networking site, but is this site even close to becoming a household name? Because the way I see it, Mr. Pullen has actually given you publicity that you otherwise would not have had.

Now that you have the spotlight, what will you tell the world about your business practices and priorities, SodaHead.com? Because it sure looks like moral correctness plays no part in your business practices. You may want to use this opportunity show the world your stance on intolerance. Perhaps that ship has sailed. But never you mind, Michael. I want to personally thank you for making a stand and even if just for a moment, made those short sighted homophobes exactly what they hate. You made them “fancy pants”. I hope this incident actually ends up benefiting you far more than it cost you, I have a feeling it will.
