The Tea Party Patriots Exposed

The Koch brothers appear to have created the Teabully brand back in 2002 as part of a marketing slogan for a group called?Citizens For A?Sound Economy.

This?faux spontaneous collection?of so-called grassroots groups of very concerned ordinary citizens, in 2007, became Freedomworks.?And who or what is?Freedomworks??It is a shadowy group that does not disclose its corporate donors, is run by Republican and right wing political activists, and which from 2001 through 2006 added members and funds through the sale of medical insurance plans to individuals without disclosing the hidden fees being charged to automatically add the buyers as members of the political group.

The circle is completed back to the Koch brothers, as Freedomworks was originally created by the?Koch brothers?through the funding?of ?Citizens For A Sound Economy?.? Freedomworks has, according to the New York Times, done more than any other political advocacy group to “build the Tea Party?movement.”

Freedomworks is dedicated to the identification of, the promotion of, the funding of, and the election of, far right wing political candidates such as Joe Miller of Alaska, Marco Rubio of Florida, and Rand Paul of Kentucky, while partnering with media lowlights such as Glen Beck.? The connection between the Koch brothers and the Teabully movement is said to go back into the 1980s as part of the effort by the?Tobacco Industry?to eliminate the effects of pesky Government regulation?restricting their rights to sell that product without any limitations.

The TeaPartyPatriots.org, is just one of the numerous sub Teabully brands that claim IRS 501 c (4) tax exempt status.? Such groups must be involved in promoting the general welfare of the people and they must ?conduct their activities in a?non-partisan manner.”

The Tea Party Patriots launched in 2009, coinciding with the election and inauguration of a certain Africa-n American President, Barack Hussein Obama. Jenny Beth Martin and Mark Meckler are co-founders of the Tea Party Patriots.

And is this a grassroots group of patriotic concerned Americans that their marketing campaign wants you to believe?? Not hardly. Jenny Beth Martin is nothing more than a long time?paid operative?for the Republican Party as is Mark Meckler who also has a history of being a television marketeer hawking Herbalife on a cable channel that you might have watched sometime in the not too distant past.?Ms. Martin passes this organization off as if it is a grassroots organization while she, and her?friends at Fox News,?cover up her ties?to the Republican Party and Republican candidates.

The organization has also been the ticket to fame and fortune for herself, her husband, and her family, helping to lift the family out of bankruptcy while getting Jenny Beth Martin listed as one of?Time’s top 100?most influential people of 2010.? And Jenny Beth Martin is alleged to have been among the 20 people on the conference call designed to build the appearance of a grassroots Teabully movement from the inception.

Sadly, co-founder?Mark Meckler?had a falling out with the Tea Party Patriots and left the organization back in February 2012.?Meckler’s previous activities included working for a company that provided guidance to marketing companies on how to avoid?criminal fraud charges, and he has also been a regular contributor on that paragon of non-partisanship, the Fox News Network,?during the time he was involved with the Tea Party Patriots.

Take a look at the group’s website and you will see the?claim that?the Tea Party Patriots is 100 percent grassroots, 100 percent of the time, while also claiming that they support no political party and endorse no political candidates. If that is so ask yourselves when have you every seen or heard anything from this group that was not directly supportive of elected officials and policies of the GOP or which did not involve public expressions of hate and derision towards Democratic elected officials and Democratic policies?

The truth of the matter is that the Tea Party Patriots is just one of the many Teabully groups who should not have IRS tax exempt status, while flaunting the will of Congress and the will of the American people.? They exist for no reason other than to engage in purely partisan political activity designed to benefit the very few and the very wealthy.? All the while this group is paying no taxes at the expense of the rest of us, while they go about the business of making certain that the super wealthy industrialists that they represent pay little or no taxes. And they are busy making certain that any programs that benefit people in need are either eliminated, defunded, or obstructed into total dysfunction.

We can end this tyranny that is the fake grassroots takeover of our Government by the GOP/Teabully corporation of America. Get out and vote on November 5, 2013 like it matters, because it does.? And stay focused for 2014 and beyond.
