One of the last known photos of Yasser Arafat shows him smiling, surrounded by supporters before being taken to France for treatment. He never returned home.
Today,?Al Jazeera reports that President Arafat did not die of the flu as his doctor thought, or AIDS as some western media suggested, or food poisoning as others reported.
Swiss scientists reported today that from the samples they tested it appears Mr.Arafat was poisoned by polonium-210 and that is what killed him.
There are two more reports due to come out shortly, one from the Russians, and one from French investigators who will either confirm this early report or not.
If confirmed, there is little doubt that there will be violence.
