Many years ago, I read a news story about a man who left his children?in the car with the windows rolled up so that he could go look for mushrooms in the woods. Both were strapped into in a car seat. It was a hot day, but not a 100-degree scorcher. When the man returned to his car, his children were dead. The news reports said that one of the babies pulled out her own hair in handfuls, the pain and suffering was so excruciating.
I’ve never been able to get that horrifying and tragic visual out of my mind.
The?man in this video is in Raleigh, NC and it’s 86-90 degrees outside. He has his windows up and said he “wants to know how it feels to be in a hot car.” We don’t know much more about him, but this one-minute video is shocking and raw.
He asks “do you really love your kids?” He continues “we go ?through this every year” and “don’t be the next fool who leaves your kids in the back seat. ”
