Of all the more unique solutions we have been hearing recently on the border crisis, we knew we would eventually hear opinions from that subhuman part of our society known as the Ku Klux Klan. Members and leaders of the KKK are now pushing for the idea of shooting migrant children at the border and then leaving the bodies there to send a message to any future immigrants.

U.S. Representative Mo Brooks?(R-AL) faced heavy criticism after making similar suggestions?in June during a town meeting while he defended Alabama’s tough immigration laws.
Robert Jones, the Imperial Klaliff of the sect Loyal White Knights, states:

“To me, they’re breaking the law when they come here. If we can’t turn them back, I think if we pop a couple of them off and leave the corpses laying on the border, maybe they’ll see that we’re serious about stopping immigration.”

Robert Jones, appearing here in the video as “Little White Hiding Hood,” has been defending these statements along with the claim that this proposed action has lead to a surge in KKK membership and donations.

According to Jones:

“We get thousands of people calling us a day, sending money, donations. People want to see more rallies. They’re begging us to come to their town.”

Well, sure. Wouldn’t we all love to see a bunch of scared and hateful little princesses prancing around our neighborhoods and burning crosses? Although the KKK has recently stepped up practices of trying to recruit new members, there is absolutely no evidence?to support his claim.

Jones also states:

“These people are criminals to begin with when they come to our country. When they come here and cross our borders illegally, they’re breaking the law. What makes you think they’re going to continue to stop breaking the law once they get here? They’re going to continue breaking the law once they get here.”

Let’s make something absolutely clear for the low, sloping forehead variety of Americans. These so called “criminals” are children that by all accounts are walking “up to the border,” waving down a border agent, and then asking to be taken into custody. Regardless of that, the fact alone is that the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008, signed by President George W. Bush, makes entry into the U.S. by these children to be completely legal. In other words, these children are not in any way, shape, or form “criminals” for crossing the border as Jones would have people believe.

Jones in particular, has also been in the news recently over concerns of how the KKK has been trying to recruit new members in the areas of North and South Carolina. Apparently, members have been leaving bags of candy with Klan literature on neighborhood properties.

The Klan literature left with the candy advertised a “Klan Hotline” phone number with the following message at an answering service:

Jones defended these actions by stating:

“I mean, we can’t tell who lives in a house, whether they’re black, white, Mexican, gay, we can’t tell that. And if you were to look at somebody’s house like that, that means you’d be pretty much a racist.”

Jones also claims that the KKK is not a hate group, but instead “a civil rights organization following the Bible,” which forces me to question which “Bible” he thinks he is reading. Jones has been arguing the erroneous claim that immigrants are somehow bringing “Third World diseases” into the U.S. That claim has been repeatedly debunked.

Jones’ group is planning a public protest against immigration in North Carolina on Aug. 9, with of course, a cross burning after dark.

"...And so I say to all of you here and to all in the nation tonight that those who appeal to you to hold on to the past do so at the cost of denying you your future. This great rich, restless country can offer opportunity and education and hope to all--all, black and white, North and South, sharecropper and city dweller. These are the enemies: poverty, ignorance, disease. They are our enemies, not our fellow man, not our neighbor. And these enemies too--poverty, disease and ignorance--we shall overcome." ~excerpt from speech by President Lyndon B Johnson, given two days after the start of the Selma Marches in an event that became known as Bloody Sunday.
