Beautiful Dog Learns To Ride The Bus – All Alone! (Video)

Eclipse rides the bus all by herself. And that wouldn’t be particularly notable – except Eclipse is a dog! The other riders enthusiastically welcome her aboard as she rides down to her dog park.

Seattle’s remarkable dog is a regular rider.?If you don’t believe me, watch this doggie video:

According to?ABC News affiliate KOMO-TV in Seattle where Eclipse lives:

Eclipse’s owner, Jeff Young, said that the 2-year-old dog started riding the bus with him to visit the dog park, but eventually she jumped on the bus on her own.

“We went all the time, then sometimes she got on the bus before me because I’m talking or distracted,” he said. “I was like ‘Oh s***, she got on the bus.'”

Young said he always follows closely behind Eclipse on a later bus for the handful of stops to the dog park and then goes home with her. Young added that Eclipse doesn’t mind interacting with other passengers.

“She’s a people person. It wouldn’t be able to work out if she’s aggressive,” said Young. “She seems to make most people’s day. She brings a smile to the situation.”

Labrador Retrievers started out as work animals for fishermen in Newfoundland. And you guessed it. They retrieved fish jumping out of the nets. Hard workers that they are, Labradors also retrieved nets and ropes for their owners.

Now they are one of the most popular dogs in the country. And labs come in three flavors: chocolate, black, and yellow.

Eclipse’s brother and sisters work as service dogs for people with disabilities. Their inborn retrieving ability makes them ideal for this profession. Others are search and rescue dogs.

Recently Labradors have been working as military dogs and K-9 therapists. The latter help their human soldiers lower their stress levels in combat zones.

Eclipse’s intelligence and patience are, in part, why she can hop a bus and tool down to the park by herself. And her gentle temperament makes her a favorite on the bus.

I want this lovable dog to come live with me. And I promise you, Eclipse, you could ride the bus as much as you like.
