Art That Has A Peel

Stephan Brusche is known mostly for drawing on and creating fantastic art pieces with bananas. Brusche makes his home in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, where he gleefully plays with his food, creating one-of-a-kind edible art.

When asked how he began using this unusual drawing medium during?an interview with news.com.au, he answered,

?I was at work and I just wanted to post something (on Instagram), but there wasn’t much to photograph. I then noticed my banana and I figured it would make a nice post if I just drew a little happy face on it. I took a ballpoint pen and just started drawing,?

Brusche’s Instagram account is flooded with dozens upon dozens of pictures of?drawings on paper, bananas, pears, and pretty much every surface that will accept ink. From simple lines and tiny smiley faces on leaves?to extremely complex and detailed drawings, this talented artist expresses his creativity on everything he touches.
