Americans are no strangers to lying. We constantly lie about the smallest things in life. We lie about things like our bowling and golf scores. We fib to ourselves when we say we can still fit into jeans from high school. We are a little less than honest at job interviews. And we tell lightening striking whoopers when we are trying to get off from work.
So it’s no surprise that when it comes to the world of politics, we are no more honest? than when we tell our significant other that they look good in neon spandex. It’s little wonder why most Americans think politicians do nothing but lie to us, probably because we lie to each other all the damn time!
