Billionaire GOP Supporter Proves Greed Is A Mental Illness

Some believe greed is a real mental illness. Taking one step closer to proving this theory is hedge fund billionaire Ken Griffen, who feels that the super rich corporations in this country actually don’t have enough influence in American politics. I’ll give you a moment to stop laughing.

You good? Okay. When asked in an interview with the Chicago Tribune, Griffin said that the 1 per centers in this country,

“have a duty” to step forward and save the U.S. from what he says is a drift toward Soviet-style state control of the economy…”

When asked if he felt that the rich had too much influence in politics he said,

?I think they have insufficient influence.?

It’s just amazing how no one is standing up for the rights of the 1%, well except for both major political parties, the justice system, the banking system, the education system, and so on. Other than those insignificant supporters, the 1% really has to struggle just to have their voices heard. Oh the humanity people!

He also says that if a corrupt politician were to do any favors for a wealthy donor just because they donated a few measly million dollars to their campaign, then it’s the fault of the politician for being influenced not the people trying to buy them. In fact the only people corporations who seek influence have a duty to is their stockholders. It seems Mr. Griffin feels it would be immoral for them not to try and compromise a politician for the sake of their poor undeserved stockholders.
