Reddit User Ignites Debate After Sharing Pictures Of Ghostly Encounter

When you’re looking through vacation photos, you don’t expect to come across a ghost.

That is exactly what happened to one Canadian family though. Reddit user Obiaruf, a friend of the father, asked for theories after sharing pictures from the vacation on Reddit, spawning much debate and speculation.

My friend took this pic (sic) of his kid. He’s a bit too disturbed by it all to post himself, so I am doing it for him because I’m fascinated by it.

Some skeptics claimed it was simply a matter of perspective. Somebody was obviously standing behind the child but hadn’t been seen – there was nothing paranormal about the situation.

Nobody was around when the photo was taken — certainly nobody was behind her. And he took about five photos of her at this spot over a period of about two minutes (he wanted a nice pic and she kept mugging for the camera and being silly, so he took several photos).

Despite the arguments against the possibility of a ghost, Obiaruf?insisted that his friend was being honest and that it?hadn’t been altered in Photoshop.

I‘ve known this guy for years and trust him. It has definitely not been P-shopped, but I’m also not saying this is anything — I just want feedback.

The photo was taken near a samurai?graveyard?in Zushi, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan, leading to the belief that the disembodied legs?in the photo belong to a samurai.

For those who may not be aware, samurai were the elite warriors of ancient?Japan. They lived by a strict moral code?and were known for their elaborate armor. Below is a close up of the photograph.

Are these the?legs of an unseen tourist in this vacation photo, or something spectral? You decide!
