9 Year Old Ninja Powerhouse Headed For American Movie Screens

Nine-year-old martial arts expert, Jesse Jane McParland,?recently made an appearance on Britain’s Got Talent, winning the hearts and votes of all four judges to continue on after the audition phase. A video of her audition is included at the end of this article.

When she first stepped onto the stage, a murmured “Awwww . . .” was heard from the audience. She was just so darn cute and tiny up there on that stage. Just a little girl, by herself, in front of a huge audience. No one knew quite what to expect.

“After some encouraging words from the panel, Jesse immediately put her game face on as the judges watched in shock as she showed off her amazing martial arts skills which left no-one uncertain that this little girl was not to be messed with.”

What followed was a performance that had my mouth hanging wide open. Wow! Three minutes of hard-hitting martial arts and some mad Ninja skills.

“Co Armagh martial arts star Jesse Jane McParland earned herself a standing ovation from the Britain’s Got Talent judges on Saturday night after she wowed them with her impressive, and deadly, skills.”

Her routine was so impressive? that Simon Cowell asked her:

“Would you like a job as my security guard???

In addition to BGT, little Jesse seems destined to appear on big screens displaying her mad Ninja skills. She has already appeared in a small role in the movie “The Martial Arts Kid” made this year. In the trailer for the film, Jesse appears at the 1:48 minute mark.

Even though she is only 9 years old, Jesse is already a world champion kick-boxer and has amassed 117 martial arts titles. She began as a ballet and Irish dancer, but really fell in love with martial arts and concentrated her efforts?on the challenging sport. Her dedication and perseverance has certainly paid off.

Jesse’s mother, Sin?ad McParland, in a recent?interview?with?the Daily Mail, stated,

?She got flown over to Hollywood for the Martial Arts Kid with big names in the sport. She’s just been picked now for another one set in Ireland called Awakening, starring Zac Efron. It’s being shot in July.?

“Martial arts is her passion and she has learned so much from it. Her dream is to one day be in the Olympics.?

We can look forward to that movie and the possibility of seeing Jesse in an up-coming Olympic competition.
