First of all, I want to say that I find Tucker Carlson to be one of the most odious and vile figures to ever appear on a TV screen. I despised him when he was on CNN’s “Crossfire,” and now that he’s working as a shill for Fox News, I dislike him even more. There, I feel much better after getting that off my chest
Over the weekend, Carlson was having a discussion about the recent decision by the?Fairfax County School Board in Virginia to add gender identity to its non-discrimination policy for all schools. So Carlson had as his guest?Elizabeth Schultz, the only Fairfax County School Board member to vote against protections for the transgender community. Schultz said this was a clear example of “government overreach” before adding:
?The notion that the federal government can reach into the 14,000 school districts across the United States of America and tell 90,000 school board members that you must comply or we’re going take away your federal education money is preposterous. That money is meant for the neediest children in our communities, for the hungriest children, for children with disabilities.”
To this, Carlson suggested it was hypocritical for schools to teach science?to students at the same time they allow transgender students to use a bathroom that doesn’t correspond to their biology:
?Isn?t a little weird that that a school which is supposed to be rooted in science and the scientific method is teaching now that there is that there is no difference between men and women and you can change your sex? Of course, that’s contrary to basic biology.?
Personally, I don’t find it nearly as weird as how Carlson and his buddies on the right choose to bring up the subject of science when it suits them and then reject science when it comes to the topic of global warming and climate change. They are usually only too happy to scoff at the scientific method when it involves a matter they know they have no genuine evidence to disprove. That’s certainly convenient.
Tucker Carlson, idiot that he is, then remarked:
?The left’s war on biology continues. It’s a weird moment in America.?
The only thing weird here, Tucker, is you blaming the left for your own moronic view of the world. Be a man and own up to being an airhead. There’s a certain nobility in that.
