Bernie Sanders Confident He Can Win Primary Election And Beat Hillary

On Sunday, Vermont Senator and 2016 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders (I-VT) appeared on the Sunday CBS show’Face The Nation’ and told the show’s host Bob Schieffer with confidence that he could beat Hillary Clinton and win the primary election.

Sanders stated Americans are tired of corporate America and the greed associated with it. Sanders added this would be a major issue that would turn voters in his direction?and?proclaimed himself the most progressive member of the Senate. Sanders has positioned himself left of Hillary Clinton on a myriad of issues; these items range from campaign finance, foreign policy and climate change to one very glaring issue: “Super Pacs.”

In a surprising move, Hillary Clinton this week welcomed the involvement of Super PAC Priorities USA in her run for president. However, Sanders said he won’t involve any outside groups in his campaign during the primary election. [See Source]

?I understand where she’s coming from,? Sanders said, but, ?I will not have a super PAC.? He went on to make the case that the Bernie Sanders campaign doesn’t need the additional money, ? ? since [I announced] we have had close to 90,000 contributions ? I don’t think we’re going to outspend Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush or anybody else, but I think we are going to raise the kind of money we need to run a strong and winning campaign.?[Bernie Sanders]

What Will It Take For Bernie To Win The Primary Election?

Bernie Sanders has been a major advocate for restoring America’s middle-class. The middle-class in America is?becoming a dying breed. We have witnessed the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer and more families falling from the middle-class to the “working poor.”

Sanders has indicated we need fundamental changes in public policy that represent the working families and middle-class and not just the top 1 percent.?Sanders has long said this reality in America is the motivating factor for his run for our nation’s highest office.

There is no question that Sanders zeal on this issue has resonated with populist America. Sanders was an early champion on the issue of student loan debt and the cost of a college education in America. All across the country people want to be able to send their children to college and not see their children come out deeply in debt.

Sanders has given much thought to announcing his run for president. Anyone even a casual follower of politics knows that running for president is a mammoth undertaking, even in the primary election. Sanders has publicly stated that the only way he can beat Hillary Clinton in 2016 is by a massive wave of grassroots organizations across the country. For example, if three million Americans sent Bernie Sanders $100 that sum would total 300 million dollars. Sadly, that amount is only about one-third of what the Koch Brothers spend on political influence peddling themselves.

Bernie Sanders’ claim to fame has been him standing up against the billionaires in this country. What he has said publicly before his announcement for president is that to take on these vultures he must be able to do it well.

Sanders has pointed out that his hesitation to run was based on he [Sanders] not knowing for sure if the American voters were ready to support such a cause. Sanders indicated that many Americans are demoralized by the political process for various reasons and to pick up this challenge against corporate America would need the support of the everyday American citizen in large numbers to be able to do it well. Remember, in the last three elections almost 70 percent of registered voters in America failed to exercise their right to do so.?”Voter Apathy” is at record levels in today’s America. [See Source]

In closing, obviously Sanders and his team have found a reason to believe that the support is there and why “Bernie Sanders ?Confident He Can Win” the primary election.
