Police Abuse Of Power — Unlawful Arrest Of Jason Disisto For Trying To Film Police

This video goes to prove what I’ve been saying over and over again when it comes to police abuse of power, police brutality and harassment. It’s not about race, it’s about power. It’s the police viewing themselves as above the people they are supposed to protect and serve.

When officers harass citizens, and ignore their rights on a routine basis, we’ve got a much deeper problem. Our freedoms have been under assault for a long time, we need to wake up to this reality.

Jason Disisto was hanging out with his friends in New York?when he noticed an officer getting very touchy-feely with one is his female friends. He protests the officer’s rude behavior and tells him that he’s going to record him on video. The moment he takes his friend’s phone and starts trying to record what the officer was doing, the police move in and arrest him.

In the police report they claimed?Disisto tried to punch the main officer involved. But recently released street camera footage?tells a very different story, and all charges have been dropped based on this?video:
