Want To Have Fun And Make A Charitable Donation? #JustKeepDancing

One of the first things I planned on watching (or DVR’ing) was?Ellen when I finally called and signed up for satellite television. I love?Ellen. I think she is one of the most genuine people on television. Hopefully, she never proves me wrong and makes me look like a jackass.

So when she issued this challenge to viewers, I felt like I had to help share it. Yea, I know. She doesn’t need help. I’m going to help anyways.

Ellen had a six-year-old boy on her show named Braylon Beam. Braylon is going through chemotherapy for a brain tumor that is causing him to lose his sight. The chemo is meant to save his sight. Despite being hooked up to IVs,?he and his father pick out a song and rehearse the night before chemotherapy which is once a week on Friday. His mother then uploads the videos to Youtube, and they are inspiring thousands.

So what does this have to do with?Ellen??Dancing is a huge part of her show. So, of course, it makes sense to have him on her show. After his appearance, Ellen dared her viewers nationwide to dance, record it, and upload to ellentube, Instagram, Youtube, or Twitter using the hashtag #JustKeepDancing. You then challenge someone else to do this in an attempt to raise money for pediatric cancer.?Braylon’s fundraising page can be found here.?It’s the Ice Bucket Challenge, but in my opinion, way more awesome and warm.

If you do it, email the link to me, and I’ll make sure it gets seen in an article of my favorites. Email is in my bio. If you can’t make a charitable donation, do the video anyways to pass the word along. If the Ice Bucket Challenge could go viral, why couldn’t this?

You can watch Ellen’s dare in the video below.
