Bombshell! Founder Of Treatment Center Josh Duggar Went To Resigned After Also Being Accused of Sexual Misconduct

In the latest revelation which has come to light as part of the investigation into the past of “19 Kids and Counting” co-star Josh Duggar, we now know that the founder of the so-called Christian “treatment center” the teenage Duggar went to in Arkansas was himself engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior which led him to resign in 2014.

Bill Gothard, who is a Christian writer and minister, founded the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP) in 1961, to help families resolve issues with the use of Biblical instruction. This is the same IBLP Josh Duggar’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, took him to when he admitted that he had molested underage girls–including his sisters.

And what a wonderful role model Pastor Gothard turned out to be! Gothard resigned in disgrace when accusations arose that he had “sexually groomed” young girls and teenagers involved in his ministry. Grooming is defined as behavior which earns the other person’s trust as a preparation for later sexual activity.

A leader at the Little Rock location of IBLP, Harold Walker, said he did indeed recall that Josh Duggar was brought onto the center by his father and added:

?I really don’t remember the circumstances on why Josh came to our center. He came down?they used to work at the center, the entire family did.?

Gothard’s brother, Steve, also had to leave the ministry?after it was discovered that he had been having affairs with some of the institute’s secretaries.

So it would now appear that the Duggar’s and their “spiritual advisors” don’t believe anyone else should engage in sex outside of marriage, but it’s perfectly fine if they engage in multiple forms of perversion and then pray for forgiveness. This whole situation stinks to high heaven (pun intended).

It’s also interesting to take a look at a handout which is used at the IBLP to detail how sexual abuse cases are handled:

I guess the body, soul, and spirit all got confused somewhere along the way for the Duggars and Bill Gothard. But that’s often the case when you’re dealing with hypocrites.
