Viewers have hit Rihanna’s ?BBHMM? music video on YouTube 4.3 million times. If you are anything like me, however, what you read here will be plenty of this good girl gone bad.
Violence, no matter who is inflicting it, is just wrong.
Warning: Definite Spoilers Ahead
?B**tch Better Have My Money,? the (BBHMM) music?video opens with us seeing Rihanna sulking in an elevator next to? you guessed it, a trunk.
Okay, no one would have guessed it. Who lugs a trunk around, anyway?
Regardless, next enters the rich, buxom blonde. Apparently, Rihanna is offended by the woman’s living-dog accessory, because the blonde exits the elevator in the trunk.
Good Girl Goes Very Bad
The singer then drags the trunk to a warehouse where she begins what I can only describe as torture. We have the blonde swinging by her feet, and her upside-down boobs are readily apparent.
Rihanna drugs her, does a little water boarding, and beats her with a blunt object. Out comes a hacksaw and chainsaw- what a bloody mess.
Then, we realize that the blonde was just the warm-up act. Rihanna has Mads Mikkelsen from Hannibal securely bound to a chair.
What is the point of this brutal woman-on-woman violence? If a guy terrorized an innocent woman, would we let him off the hook easily? I hope not.
BBHMM Is A Failure
If Rihanna is trying to portray herself as a woman who gets what she wants, she fails. The singer ends up as a cold-blooded primitive human with blood dripping down her face.
Rihanna did the concept work and co-directed this shockingly cruel music video. Frankly, it just isn’t any good. And sadly, Rihanna did not reach the level of a strong woman. Instead, she sank to the level of her aggressors.
Very disappointing.
