Autistic Student Brings High School to Tears During Basketball Game

This is the story of Jason McElwain, back in 2011 he was a high school student in Rochester New York.

McElwain was born with Autism, but he didn’t let his disability stop him from getting involved with his high school basketball program; something he was extremely passionate about.

For years, Jason would be the team manager, bringing whatever players would need be it towels or cold water. He would help with their practices and continuously encourage them to work hard.

In this video by CBS News, they profile Jason a little bit, but they also show one of the most unbelievable and inspiring moments I have ever witnessed in a high school basketball game. Watch this video and be inspired.
