The FIVE BEST Hillary Clinton Faces During The Benghazi Hearing

The marathon and ridiculous Benghazi Hearing that was held today had a lot of very interesting moments. I am sure everyone can read full reports and check out videos/transcripts. However, here’s a quick look at Hillary Clinton’s best faces with some of my comments on what they convey.

1. “Why Am I Here?”

So many of the questions from Trey Gowdy and other Republicans were downright political pandering. I often thought, “Why am I watching this?” and “Why is any one there?”

2. “I’m Going To Pretend That This Is A Serious Committee.”

Some people, notably Representative and veteran Tammy Duckworth, asked real questions about security going forward. I applaud this rare moment of commitment to our nation. But smiling away, she still knew this was overall, a joke.

3. “I Got This.”

The poor Republicans tried, bless their souls. They tried REALLY hard to break Clinton, but they failed. They failed tremendously. And we all know that Clinton was very well aware of that the entire time as she takes a sip, not-bothered. At one point, she even told a Republican Congressman “I don’t care what you all say about me, it doesn’t bother me a bit.” Mic-Dropped.

4. “Excuse Me, You’re Wrong.”

Some things were flat out wrong, such as implying that Clinton personally denied funding for security. Or that Clinton personally signed off on cables that in fact, were stamped. But lies never seem to matter to Republicans. This was always about polls and we know it. Still, Clinton went above and beyond in articulately explaining every facet of every situation, of every issue, that you can imagine.

5. “She Just Asked Me If I Was Home Alone The Whole Night!”

One of the more memorable moments was when Congresswoman Roby asked Clinton if she went home the night of the attack, Clinton said yes. She then asked if she was alone, Clinton said yes. Roby followed up by asking “the whole night?”Clinton erupted in laughter as did some in the room. Watching live, I personally imagined some sexual innuendo. Oops. Roby clarified that she was asking if she had in-person briefings about the situation. Why couldn’t she just say that!?

Clinton stayed sturdy and strong but her faces and gestures added some life to the overly-long procedural process. Thank you Mrs. Clinton for your entertainment yet Presidential nature despite the clown attacks bestowed upon you by the GOP.
