Texas Man Bought JebCanFixIt.Com Because the Bush Campaign Forgot To

Jeb Bush’s campaign continues its death rattle, desperately grasping for anything that can turn his campaign around. Recently Jeb released a new slogan titled “Jeb Can Fix It.” This slogan was immediately met with hilarious mockery all over the internet. Check out this video.

The brain surgeons who thought up his new slogan probably didn’t anticipate that people would connect it to the infamous 2000 election in which many people feel that Jeb rigged the election for his brother. But I suspect the reputation of brain surgeons may have taken a big hit in recent months…

Now you would think that a new slogan would automatically be secured and copyrighted, right?

Well, it would seem Jeb’s campaign, in all their enthusiasm and excitement, forgot to do that. Enter an Austin, Texas man named Jimmy Flannigan, who happens to be a gay democrat. Flannigan launched his campaign last year for an Austin District 6 city council position. Wanna guess what Flannigan’s campaign slogan was? That’s right it was “Flannigan Can Fix It.” Here’s his campaign video.

After learning of Jeb’s apparent thievery, Flannigan managed to buy jebcanfixit.com and use it to both mock Jeb and endorse his brand! Flannigan told Politico:

“I’m not a fan of Jeb (or anyone in the Republican field), but I almost feel bad for him since he’s having such a hard time with his campaign. It can’t be easy to be constantly overshadowed by your dad and brother.”

But wait a minute? What about jebcanfixit.org? Well, that site was bought by someone other than Jeb’s campaign as well. And the owner of that site isn’t a big fan of the former Florida governor either. You can check out his site here.

So what’s next for the GOP’s most interesting and exciting candidate? Whatever it is I’m sure it’s going to make his brother look like a genius.
