Willie Nelson may be the walking, living, breathing embodiment of the “marijuana isn’t bad for you” movement. At 82, the iconic musician is still going strong and still an outlaw. But who is this paradox of a man voting for in the 2016 presidential election? Not sure. Because he’s basically endorsing both Hillary Clinton AND Bernie Sanders.
When asked by a reporter who he likes in the presidential race, he said “it’s not over yet, I’m still watching the show.” He continued:
“I’m a great Bernie and Hillary fan.”
He then said, when asked what he likes about them, “Everything.”
Nelson also said that Pres. Barack Obama is “a good friend.”
