In the political world, Donald Trump is all the rage. As he goes from one outrageous statement to another, his poll numbers surge. He seems immune to the normal laws of political physics.
In a recent interview with the New York Times, Trump was asked to name some of his favorite movies. Considering that Trump lives in his own little fantasy world analagous to a Hollywood movie, and when you factor in that the man with the dead hamster atop his dead loves to talk tough, his response is no surprise:
“My favorite was Harrison Ford on the plane. He stood up for America.”
Trump is referring to the 1997 film “Air Force One,” in which Ford plays the President when Air Force One is hijacked by terrorists. No doubt Trump loved the famous quote in the film where an angry Ford sneers:
“Get off my plane.”
Australian TV recently had a chance to sit down and talk to Harrison Ford as part of the publicity for the newest Star Wars film, which debuts on December 18. And as you’ll see in the video below, it took Ford less than 30 seconds to shred and set fire to Trump.
