Obama’s Secret Super Bowl Rituals Revealed

Every year before the Super Bowl, President Barack Obama gives a pre-game interview on his thoughts on the game and how the first family tend to watch it.

In his final pre-game interview, Barack and Michelle Obama discussed their family Super Bowl traditions.

In the interview with Gayle King on CBS’s Super Bowl pre-game show, Obama intimated that there are a lot of dead spots around the White House where the Wi-Fi doesn’t reach.

The first lady agreed, stating, “the girls are just irritated by it.”

Who’d have thought that the White House suffers Wi-Fi problems like the rest of us? There’s nothing worse than loading up a video on YouTube and having to pause it and wait for a few seconds to let it buffer before it continues.

The first couple also added that they invite friends over to watch the game. In terms of food, the Obamas go unhealthy on Super Bowl Sunday. They eat typical things normal people eat on this euphoric day; chicken wings, nachos and guacamole.

“We let ‘Let’s Move’ off the table,” Michelle Obama admitted, referring to her campaign aimed at battling childhood obesity. The two did add that there would be salads available, although they probably wouldn’t be eaten.

The Obamas also went on to elaborate on their feelings on the famous commercials during the Super Bowl. Much like the rest of us, they see it as part of the entertainment and enjoy them wholeheartedly.

Have we ever, and are we ever going to have a more human and relatable family in the White House?
