Women Are Tweeting Their Cleavage To Support Boob-Shamed Susan Sarandon

Ever since the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Memoriam segment aired on January 30, there has been an explosion of comments on Twitter about presenter Susan Sarandon’s choice to show off a black bra while on stage. One notable person who decided to berate the actress for her style of choice was British journalist Piers Morgan.

While Morgan may appear to be the leader of the negative comments, viewers across the globe were already submitting their own tweets regarding Sarandon’s breasts, including angry statements said that she should have worn a classier outfit for a somber presentation. But supporters praised her decision to look fabulous and sexy at her age, and then showed their own cleavages on Twitter.

Even Susan Sarandon responded to Piers Morgan’s comments with a photo of her on the set of “Rocky Horror Picture Show” wearing a white bra and little else.

This led others to tweet pictures of their own cleavages to throw in the faces of those who support body shaming. Piers’ response? A tweet including a photoshopped picture of himself resembling a muscular Roman statue in front of a fireplace.

Yuck.

The whole debate on whether to show off one’s cleavage is still going strong two weeks after the Awards aired. Some question if the reactions would have been the same if a younger woman made the same display. Some views Morgan as a misogynist. Many support Morgan’s views. Many support boob-shamed Susan Sarandon ‘s choice. But the fact remains that breasts are here to stay. Deal with it, jerks.
