Is karma finally catching up with Donald Trump? He looked bad at the last GOP debate, and just yesterday he refused to say anything bad about former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke, remarking that he didn’t know if Duke was a racist or not. And now we have John Oliver completely destroying the Tumpster Fire on “Last Week Tonight.”
Oliver began by saying that while Trump loves to promote the lie that the name “Trump” stands for quality, the reality is quite different:
“Donald Trump can seem appealing until you take a closer look. Much like the lunch buffet at a strip club. Or the NFL. Or having a pet chimpanzee. Sure, it seems fun, but someday Coco is going to rip your f*cking limbs off.”
Then Oliver attacked the Donald where it hurts most, questioning his net worth and using a quote from Trump in which he said, under oath as part of a deposition, that his total net worth is actually based on:
“Feelings, even my own feelings… and that can change rapidly from day to day.”
In response, Oliver noted:
“Think about that. He claimed that his net worth changes depending upon his mood, which makes absolutely no sense. Partly because he always seems to be in the same mood. Specifically, smug yet gassy.”
Oliver also went after Trump on the real estate mogul’s assertion that, “If I put my name on something, you know it’s going to be good.” Oliver brought up the many failures with Trump’s name attached ot them: Trump Vodka, Trump Steaks, Trump Mortgages, finally concluding that Donald Trump is a:
“Bullshit artist selling a shitty lifestyle.”
