The campaign manager for the Donald Trump presidential race is now accused of physically assaulting a female reporter shortly after a Trump press conference on Tuesday. Corey Lewandowski allegedly pulled Brietbart reporter Michelle Fields to the ground after she asked Trump a question, and there were witnesses who saw the incident.

Jamie Weinstein of the Daily Caller, who was standing next to Fields when the altercation took place, tweeted out this:

But thuggery is the operating principle of the Trump campaign. Whether it’s having protesters forcibly removed or harassed from his rallies or the Donald himself saying he’d like a punch a protester in the face, violence is always on hand whenever Trump or his minions are in the area.

This is hardly the first time that Lewandowski has attempted to intimidate a female reporter. He also told Fox News host Megyn Kelly that she “had a rough couple of days after that last debate” and he “would hate to have her go through that again.” Sounds exactly like a threat, doesn’t it?

Some of Trump’s mindless idiot supporters attempted to refute the allegations, with one posting this on Twitter:

But Weinstein was quick to tell the supporter off and remind him:

None of this surprises me in the least. Trump has built his entire campaign on insults, intimidation, and inciting hatred of others. He is a fascist who will not be satisfied until he manages to become President and then declare himself emperor. Yet another reason he and his thuggish masses must be decisively defeated at ever turn.
