As if Donald Trump wasn’t already lower than pond scum when it comes to the things he’s said and done during his campaign for the 2016 GOP nomination, while he was campaigning in Utah he thought it would be a really awesome idea to question if 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney is actually a Mormon.
Now it should be pointed out that just a couple of weeks ago Romney made a speech in which he called Trump a phony and a “fraud,” and added:
“Let me put it plainly — if we Republicans choose Donald Trump as our nominee, the prospects for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished.”
Romney now says he will vote for Ted Cruz in next week’s Utah Republican primary. And this prompted Trump to say at a rally in Salt Lake City on Friday evening:
“I have many friends that live in Salt Lake. I have a lot of friends, I have a lot of friends. By the way, Mitt Romney is not one of them. Did he choke? Did this guy choke? He’s a choke artist, I can’t believe. Are you sure he’s a Mormon? Are we sure?”
Are we sure Donald Trump is really a Christian the way he claims to be? He loves to question everyone else’s religious beliefs, but Trump has said he has never asked God to forgive him for anything, one of the most basic tenets of the Christian faith. Of course, few of us are as perfect as the Donald.
While he was it it, Trump also decided to kiss ass on all the Mormons within a 250-mile radius by declaring with false sincerity:
“They’re amazing people and it’s an honor to be with you tonight, those of you that are Mormons. An honor. I love you.”
Sure you do, Donald, and you probably also believe that the vast majority of Mormons approve of the life you live. But most of them have not been divorced multiple times and don’t brag about the size of their dicks. But insecure dickheads like you have to, so it’s really no surprise.
