Racists Bring Little Girl To Tears At Disney Event

Racist remarks were thrown about at a local Disney event in Melbourne.

Rachel Muir, took her three-year old daughter, Samara, to a Disney event at a local shopping center. Her daughter happens to be black.

Mother and daughter were waiting in line to get into the event, and Samara was dressed like Elsa from the movie Frozen. The person in front of them told the child, “I don’t know why you’re dressed up for because Queen Elsa isn’t black.”

Ms. Muir stated:

“I asked the woman what she meant by the comment and then one of the woman’s young daughters screwed up her face, she pointed at Samara and said ‘you’re black and black is ugly’.”

The child burst into tears and hid her face in her hands.

Here is the mother’s Facebook post about the incident:

“The saddest part of it all is that racism is alive and well and the next generation are being subjected to it. Nobody is born into this world a racist. It is learnt behaviour. It can be changed.”

Right after the incident, the child became depressed and withdrawn. She stopped want to go to her Aboriginal dance classes.

People took to the Internet to stand up for the poor girl. The Australian media dubbed her “Queen Samara.”

Samara’s mother complained to the building manager, who said the behaviour was “unacceptable.”

Here is a beautiful tweet released by an Australian news outlet:

She was also named Queen Elsa of Australia in a Facebook competition. Australian rapper Adam Briggs has featured the girl in a video:

It’s 2016, the fact that there are ANY racist people left is ridiculous. Anyone who would do this to a child is disgusting! The actress that plays Elsa at Disney World even sent a message to Samara.
