This Nasty Pastor Jailed For Spanking His Church Members

This nasty English pastor, Howard Curtis, 73, has been jailed for spanking some of his congregants. He is facing four counts of sexual assault and two counts of child cruelty. He first went to court for the charges in March. Now, he has been sentenced to six years in prison and will have register for the sex offenders’ list for the rest of his life.

The judge said:

“These are serious offences involving a gross abuse of the trust that was invested in you, and in your position in the church. Indeed, custody is inevitable.”

“It’s clear to me that your controlling, bullying and, as a jury found, criminal conduct has had a lasting effect on them.”

Moreover you have caused them to relive in public, in a jury box, the sustained assaults to which you submitted them.”

He brainwashed these women into believing that receiving the spankings was the “will of God.” At least seven sexual attacks occurred in his church between 1991 and 2013. He conducted his “deliverance ministries” with some of his church members.

“This would involve the defendant saying that he was going to cast out evil spirits from a person.”

“He would tell his congregation that discipline needed to be administered and this was best done by spanking bare flesh with the bare hand.”

He would ask these women to strip naked, and he would spank them between their legs. He said that they were disobedient and needed punishment. Some of these incidents occurred with teenagers in the 1970s. He spanked one of them in hopes that she would be “healed” of her  depression.

Years later one of these women brought her baby boy into the church. Curtis offered to help “soothe” the baby, but he spanked and pinched the child instead.

This sick man needs to be behind bars WAY longer than six years!
