WATCH: O’Reilly and Dobbs Defend Trump–‘Jesus Never Put Out His Tax Returns’

We’ve all seen some incredibly ridiculous and even downright goofy stuff on Fox News. Spend five minutes on Fox and you’re bound to run across something that’ll leave you shaking your head and muttering under your breath at how monumentally out of touch the Fox folks are.

But we have a new entry which may just rocket up the charts to the top spot: On O’Reilly’s show Wednesday evening, he invited Fox Business host Lou Dobbs on to discuss the fact that Donald Trump had said yet again that he had no plans to release his tax returns, even though he promised to do so in February. Dobbs kicked off the lunacy by declaring:

“Why should he turn over his tax returns when he’s being audited? [H]e is facing a hostile national media that no matter how pristine those returns, it’s going to find something to pick at and blow up. And then use it as some shiny object to distract from the issue.”

Aw, poor Trump and poor Dobbs. Wonder if they want some cheese to go with their whine.

O’Reilly countered that it would be a “good move” for Trump to release the tax information because his honesty is being called into question.

Dobbs and O’Reilly then went back and forth as O’Reilly pressed Dobbs to say if there was anything Trump had said so far that he disagreed with. Dobbs replied:

“It would be so miniscule amongst the many things. Why would you even be interested in such insignificant things?”

To that, O’Reilly fired back:

“If he is Jesus, how can you analyze him?”

So Dobbs decided to get personal and take a slap at O’Reilly, which the arrogant O’Reilly hates:

“How can I analyze him? Because I have a superior mind that competes at least fairly favorably with your own.”

From the way O’Reilly responded, you could tell he was irritated:

“Okay. Let’s just recap. According to Dobbs, Donald Trump is Jesus. And Jesus never put out his tax returns! Ever!”

To that, Dobbs said something that proved his own massive ignorance and arrogance:

“That’s a line that I can actually agree with.”

Newsflash for Dobbs and O’Reilly: You’re both idiots who know next to nothing about everything.
