10 Hilarious Grownup Jokes Hidden In Kid Movies

Most of us watched cartoons when we were little kids. Not going to lie, I still watch them as an adult. Some of your favorite childhood movies might have a few hidden innuendos or adult jokes in there. Re-watch your favorites and you might find a few punchlines that didn’t make sense when you were younger. Today, I present ten of these jokes that you may have missed in these kid favorites.

Hercules was one of my favorites growing up. Here is a very subtle line you might not remember. Hercules goes on a date with Meg to see a play, and obviously, it was the story of Oedipus. Oedipus is a famous Greek play where the main character unknowingly sleeps with his mother.

Here is a clever little joke you might have missed in Hocus Pocus. These 18th-century witches are brought to life, and they are looking for children for their spells. This is the reaction from a bus driver when they were asked where they are going.

You probably missed this one when watching Frozen with your kids. She is talking about her new love interest, and she says the foot size doesn’t matter. This is pointing out the common myth that guys with big feet have large man parts.

This gem can be found in the superhero Pixar movie, “The Incredibles.” The villain explains why he has the “S” on his super suit. It’s because his name is “Syndrome.”

It’s not just Disney movies that have these slyly hidden jokes.

“Shrek” was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid. I laughed so hard seeing this particular joke. This is the villain Lord Farquaad; say his name very slowly… Yes, his name is meant to be a subtle play on the classic insult “fuckwad.”

6. “Mrs. Doubtfire:” Array Of Euphemisms

When Robin Williams performed a movie with improvisations, there was bound to be a few adult jokes in there. There are actually different versions of the movie with different ratings. Here are some euphemisms Mrs. Doubtfire gave to his ex-wife’s new boyfriend:

Mrs. Doubtfire: Sink the sub. Hide the weasel. Park the porpoise. A bit of the old Humpty Dumpty, Little Jack Horny, the Horizontal Mambo, hmm? The Bone Dancer, Rumpleforeskin, Baloney Bop, a bit of the old Cunning Linguistics?

Stu: Mrs. Doubtfire, please.

Mrs. Doubtfire: Oh I’m sorry, am I being a little graphic? I’m sorry. Well, I hope you’re up for a little competition. She’s got a power tool in the bedroom, dear. It’s her own personal jackhammer. She could break sidewalk with that thing. She uses it and the lights dim, it’s like a prison movie. Amazed she hasn’t chipped her teeth… I hope you bring cocktail sauce. She’s got the crabs dear and I don’t mean Dungeness.

I bet you didn’t catch this bit when you watched the movie.

7. “Madagascar:” Oh! Sugar Honey Iced Tea

Here is a classic from the animated movie “Madagascar.” Alex is mad at Marty. Marty cleverly says “Oh! Sugar Honey Iced Tea!” when he is running away from Alex’s wrath.

8. “Wreck It Ralph:” Pacman

Here we have a very subtle joke about Pacman. Ralph calls him a “cherry-chasing dot-muncher.” Urban Dictionary says cherry-chasing means:

An adult male chasing a young girls’ virginity.

Of course, “dot-muncher” refers to performing oral sex on women.

9. “The Rugrats Movie:” Circumcision Joke

This is a very sneaky scene from “The Road To El Dorado.” The girl pops up out of the pillows with one of the main characters, but her face was obviously a little lower than his face.
