WATCH: Fanatical Transphobic Street Preacher Harasses Teens, Police Intervene

Transphobic Angela Cummings, who seems obsessed about bathrooms, made news twice in the past several days. This street preacher is filled with so much evangelical zeal and piety that she took her crusade to a Target store last week to protest the evils of transgender people using public restrooms.

Cummings yelled at Target shoppers in Queensbury, New York, for the sin of buying at a store that allows transgender individuals to use the restrooms corresponding to their gender identity. The Target store chain has been the ‘target’ of transphobic Christian activists who think the business establishment is running a sinful business operation because it has gender-neutral restrooms.

In one of her recent YouTube videos, Cummings can be seen entering a Target store branch late at night, berating customers. Although the customers and staff largely ignored her, she continued her public rant, spewing her righteous anger. Although there were very few customers, she seemed to have been satisfied by her actions.

Other anti-LGBT, transphobic protesters are doing similar rebuke-preaching activities in several Target branches. They recently posted videos online, and some have caught the attention of the media. Target is being compared by these religious nutjobs to Sodom and Gomorrah, calling transgender people “perverts.”

Cummings recently expanded her rebuke-preaching operations from Target to a nearby high school. Her latest hate rant was directed to the students of Scotia-Glenville High School. Just like a typical Christian fanatic suffering from moral superiority complex, she shouted at the students, calling them sinful and awful people.

She shouted her irrational condemnations to students passing by:

“Many of you don’t have knowledge … You watch too much MTV, gangster music, and you live for the devil. Some of you even smoke pot! It’s time to repent!”

A student could be heard in the background, making fun of the street evangelist; perhaps out of annoyance. Somebody shouted “Hail Satan!” in response to Cummings.

A school official confronted her and tried persuading her to stop harassing the students. She refused to heed the request and continued her preaching. She said that she was practicing her freedom of speech and she is legally allowed to preach in the sidewalks.

She blamed President Obama and said that the president would let the young men use the girl’s bathroom. She also said that they better start homeschooling. She told an unconfirmed story that a girl had sex in a bathroom in a high school with 28 men.

The vice-principal of the school lost his patience and angrily interrupted her. He told her to stop yelling about the sex story. She again refused to stop, reasserting her story.

The police eventually arrived at the scene and intervened. They were able to convince Cummings to stop her public rant, allowing the students to leave the school without being berated by a crazy preacher. She initially refused to stop and asked the police to tell her the violation she committed. The police said that she was committing disorderly conduct by disrupting students who are passing by.

Religious fanatics like Cummings seem to be devoid of any public shame and they are too deluded to realize that nobody is interested in listening. They are fond of spewing their hate-filled religious rants in inappropriate places, causing annoyance and public disturbance.
