Tim Kaine In BLISTERING Telemundo Interview: Trump Sees Latinos As ‘Second Class People’

Latino voters number in the tens of millions in the United States. Only one person on either of the national tickets is literally speaking their language.

Bilingual VP Pick For Latino Voters

On Monday, July 25, Vice Presidential nominee, Senator Tim Kaine (D-Va.) went on the Spanish-speaking Telemundo network, and did not hold back:

“…To Trump, Latinos are second-class people, while to us, we are all Americans.”

Kaine was a smart and calculated choice for former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. He is someone who may not be as progressive as some would like, but the fact is that most of the country falls somewhere in the middle.

Simply stated, Kaine is a man who can broaden the tent of the Democratic Party.

Furthermore, he is a man who is bilingual, and can reach out to Latino voters. Kaine lived in Honduras for a year and is fluent in Spanish. He was the first person to ever deliver a speech on the Senate floor entirely in Spanish.

Kaine may have pulled no punches in his Telemundo interview, but you can’t say that Donald Trump didn’t have it coming.

“Latinos love Trump, and I love them.”

Do you really, Donald?

Trump is a man who either doesn’t know, or doesn’t care about offending people (my money is on the latter, by the way). He is on record calling Mexican immigrants “rapists” who are also “bringing drugs” and “bringing crime” to the United States. When asked to clarify that comment, he doubled down and added “killers” to the mix.

Trump once tweeted about former Governor, Jeb Bush liking “Mexican illegals because of his wife.”

He then deleted the tweet, but not before a savvy user saved it. Stay classy there, Donald.

Oh, and let us not forget Trump’s idea of Latino outreach – a taco salad, made in New York City, eaten in celebration of a holiday that’s really not that big of a deal in Mexico.

And, of course, there is his beloved wall. The wall to keep out the Mexicans. The wall that Mexico will pay for. Yea, good luck with that.
