Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has picked Senator Tim Kaine (D-Va.) as her running mate. Senator Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.) came out in support of Kaine, so that may help with the rabid Bernie Sanders supporters. Kaine has also talked about the issue of college tuition and student loans. He said:
“We’re burdening those who have the fewest means to begin with.”
Kaine must be bad for the Republican Party because Donald Trump (R-N.Y.) has already given him a goofy nickname: “Corrupt Kaine.”
Sen. Kaine is one of the few politicians who has been a mayor, a governor, and a United States Senator. He was elected as a Senator in 2012 on the message of bringing people together. He serves on the Armed Services, Budget, Foreign Relations and Aging Committees. He is really passionate about lowering the unemployment rate among veterans.

The images of him with his family are being compared to old, cheesy sitcoms. They just look like one of those families.
After accepting the VP nomination, he is hitting the road on the campaign trail with Hillary Clinton. They are painting themselves as the candidates for the future, and they are standing up against Trump “dark, divisive” view of America.
Clinton said:
“We might as well have been talking about two different countries … Or two different planets. Donald Trump painted a dark, divisive picture of a country in decline. He insisted America is weak, and he told us all after laying out this very dark picture that I alone can fix it. As I watched and heard that, it set off alarm bells.”
Sen. Kaine is a fox, and he’s a great candidate for our next Vice-President. Vote blue in November!
