You would think since those who support Donald Trump are always talking about immigration and their savior’s plan to build a wall on the Mexican border that they would be up in arms about the news which broke yesterday regarding Trump’s wife, Melania, who may have committed visa fraud when she came to the United States.
But you would be wrong. Because hey, Melania’s European and white.
As a social and political experiment, Buzzfeed went out and decided to ask Trump acolytes what they thought of the news regarding Melania Trump. One woman told them:
“I haven’t heard about this before, but it’s not true.”
Hasn’t heard about it, but it isn’t true. So much for having an open mind. Of course, in order to open your mind you first must possess one.
Another Trumpite said the press should leave Melania alone because “Obama’s gotten a pass.” A pass on what? He was born in the United States and is therefore a native born American. Which is more than you can say for Melania Trump. Here’s some of the other comments, all of which will leave you shaking your head:

There are millions of these lugnuts walking the streets of this country. One may even live next door to you! They, like the man they so revere, are stains on what this nation is supposed to be about: tolerance, inclusion, acceptance, and freedom. We can all hope and pray they will scuttle back under their designated rocks when this election is over with.
