FBI Sends Ominous Warning To GOP Congressional Members (VIDEO)

During this entire campaign, we have been hearing about Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s email servers when she was Secretary of State. She used private email servers when she was working there.

The FBI is not charging her, but the issue persists. In one poll, 58 percent of voters say that the issue bothers them “a lot.”

On Tuesday, the FBI sent Congress some extra documents related to the case. They include notes from Clinton’s 3 1/2-hour interview with the FBI.

A statement from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform said:

“The F.B.I. has turned over a ‘number of documents’ related to their investigation of former Secretary Clinton’s use of a personal email server. Committee staff is currently reviewing the information that is classified Secret. There are no further details at this time.”

People are calling for the records to be released. This has been a multi-million dollar investigation. We want to see what they learned.

Unfortunately, that might never happen.

When the FBI handed over the documents, they did so with the understanding that the documents are classified as SECRET. That means no leaks from the GOP peanut gallery. If any information makes it into the public eye, the FBI promised to track down and prosecute the person who let it out.

Tim Kaine said:

“Anything that the FBI gives to Congress, they should give to the public. Because what we’ve seen is this lengthy, multi-million dollar congressional investigation that has been highly partisan, where they’ve wanted to leak out this or that to try to make their case against Hillary Clinton. Let the public see what the FBI decides to let Congress see.”

More of the emails are being turned over. There was not enough evidence to show intent to violate any statutes with the emails. The agency also said:

“…The facts did not support a recommendation to prosecute her or others within the scope of the investigation for gross negligence.”

Former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates backed up Clinton on the issue:

“The truth is, things are overclassified, and sometimes I would get something and it would be classified Secret or Top Secret. And I would look at somebody and say, I’m about to tell a foreign leader what is on this piece of paper that’s marked Top Secret… Why are you giving it to me as a talking point if it’s classified Top Secret? So it is tough sometimes. And if you don’t have any markings on a piece of paper, it is tough sometimes to tell whether it’s classified or not.”

There is also one major fact to mention. Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell also handled classified information on personal accounts. Republicans seem to be ignoring that one.
