HUMILIATED Trump Campaign Chair Manafort Resigns Amid Revelations About Russia, Ukraine Ties (VIDEO)

In the past few days, the campaign of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has started to look like a complete free-for-all.

This week, Trump was forced to demote another campaign manager, the second in the past six months. Paul Manafort had been hired back in March to lead the campaign through what was predicted to be a contested convention.

He replaced the unpopular bully, Corey Lewandowski, in an effort to make the campaign more palatable to the general public.

With Trump now in possession of the Republican nomination, there appears to be a power struggle going on within the campaign.

Manafort has come under increased scrutiny, as it has been revealed that he was paid by pro-Russian forces in the Ukraine. As more and more unsavory information came out, Manafort’s influence within the campaign began to wane.

This week, Trump brought in two new advisors, Steve Bannon of the ultra-right wing Breitbart News, and Kellyanne Conway as his new campaign manager. Manafort was downgraded to a position as advisor.

Now CNN reports that Manafort has “offered his resignation,” which really means that he finally got the boot in the rear end, and he is officially out.

So, what does all this mean?

Journalists and political pundits are having a field day trying to figure out just what is going on in the increasingly chaotic campaign. What we know for sure is this:

Manafort has direct ties to Russia and Ukraine, boosting the claims that Trump and Putin are in cahoots.

Trump and his campaign took a swing toward moderation when it fired Lewandowski and hired Manafort. Now they are taking a swing back toward a more aggressive posture with the hiring of Bannon and Conway.

Paul Manafort came in as the hero and is going out as the goat.

The Trump campaign is a huge mess.

What a hoot.
