Donald Trump just loves to talk about the size of the crowds that show up at his rallies, almost as much as he enjoys talking about the size of his…hands.
At a recent rally in Tampa, Florida, Trump could not stop yammering about the giant crowd that showed up to see him. You would have thought people were about to crush each other they were packed so tightly into the room.
One problem: The size of the crowd was pathetic with a capital P. Take a look at this video shot by Ed O’Keefe of the Washington Post:

I’ve seen bigger crowds at a freaking bad puppet show.
But this is emblematic of something much larger: Trump and his surrogates always go on TV and say that the majority of Americans are behind the GOP nominee, but they aren’t counted in polls such as the Reuters/Ipsos poll which was released yesterday and shows Trump losing to Hillary Clinton by 12 points. Now his campaign manager is even saying Trump will win because his voters are “undercover.” Whatever that means.
It’s both funny and pathetic to watch as a man who is already in a hole so deep he cannot see the sun insists on digging deeper. Trump is going to lose in November, and all that remains to be seen is just how badly the thrashing will be.
But for now, content yourself with the video from Ed O’Keefe. The Orange Menace emperor clearly has no clothes, but for some reason no one wants to tell him so. It either means his supporters are really as stupid as we suspected or, in the case of his campaign staff, they’re getting paid to ignore the facts. Either way, it spells doom for Trump.
