Trump Slams Clinton: Calls Her ‘Trigger Happy’ And Very ‘Unstable’ (VIDEO)

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump must be suffering from amnesia.

On Wednesday he gave a speech to the Union League of Philadelphia where he accused Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton of being “trigger happy” and “very unstable.”

He also assured everyone that his foreign policy would “emphasize diplomacy, not destruction.”

He clearly must be forgetting that this is how Clinton and many military officials have been characterizing him for the past year. No one with a pulse is going to believe that he would be better for foreign relations than Clinton.

Trump goes on to say that Clinton’s legacy in Iraq, Libya, and Syria “has produced only turmoil and suffering and death.” He made his point explicitly clear when he said:

“The price of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will total approximately $6 trillion. We could have rebuilt our country over and over and over again. Yet, after all this money was spent and lives lost, Clinton’s policies as secretary of state have left the Middle East in more disarray than ever before, not even close. Had we done nothing, we would have been in a far better position.”

Trump’s words clearly indicate that he does not pay attention to facts or statistics. According to data compiled by the state department, global terrorism has decreased over the last year. So apparently Madame Secretary Clinton and current President Barack Obama’s decision making skills are not as poor as Trump would like you to believe.

Also, it is incredibly hypocritical of Trump to blame Clinton for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan when Republican Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence also voted for the war. Plus Pence has a habit of trying to restrict the rights of citizens here in the homeland.

Trump continues on, consistently referring to Clinton as reckless. Apparently that was the word of the night for the Trump campaign. He was quoted saying:

“Sometimes it seemed like there wasn’t a country in the Middle East that Hillary Clinton didn’t want to invade, intervene in, or topple. She is trigger-happy and very unstable, whether we like it or not, that’s what’s going on……also reckless, so reckless, in fact, that she put her emails on an illegal server that our enemies could easily hack and probably have.”

He even hilariously refers to current Russian President Vladimir Putin’s disdain for Clinton saying he has “absolutely no respect for her.” What Trump fails to realize is that this is probably a good thing. Putin is obviously a dangerous, power-hungry individual who needs to be dealt with firmly, not treated like a friend.

The Clinton camp responded to Trump’s ridiculous words about Clinton being worse for foreign affairs. Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton’s communications director, released a statement saying:

“Like a schoolyard bully who can’t rely on facts or issues, Trump has only one way of responding to legitimate criticism of his own vulnerabilities: ‘I know you are, but what am I?

It’s almost as if Trump does not see himself the way the rest of the country does; and, he clearly does not recognize that the very things he says about others apply directly to himself as well. When he refers to Clinton as “very unstable” and “reckless,” he doesn’t realize that the person he is most describing is himself.
