Just when you thought Republican nominee for president Donald Trump, couldn’t get any more bizarre, Mother Jones found an audio clip from an interview with Howard Stern.
Many of you won’t remember Trump’s previous run at president for the Reform Party. During his brief campaign, Trump and then-girlfriend and now-wife Melania went live on air with Stern.
Taking place on November 9th, 1999, Melania was the subject of conversation on the call-in conversation. Trump called his future wife:
“A potential first lady.”
When Stern demanded to speak to,
“That broad in your bed..”
She Wasn’t Wearing Much
Trump summoned Melania, who was apparently not wearing much in clothing at the time, to come to the phone. Once there, Stern asked that Melania wear her hottest outfit for a Stern-Trump night on the town.
Stern, then dropping his voice, asked the future leader of the GOP how often he and Melania had sex. He then asked how good it was, to which Melanie replied:
“We have a great, great time.”
She went to say that she and Trump had sex more than once a day. Unfazed by the raunchy questioning – and moaning – from Stern, Trump claimed that Melania was actually naked during the phone conversation.
Trump, Stern, and Stern’s co-host Robin then went on to discuss the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
“There are those that say that if President Clinton was caught with a supermodel, he would have been everyone’s hero. Now, of course, I would never say a thing like that, but there are those that say that.”
President Trump Will Be A Reality
At the time, the Reform Party chairman Russ Verney said of the interview:
“The very first principle of the Reform Party is to set the highest ethical standards for the White House and Congress, not the most base, crass attempt to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Whatever their private life is, it should be exactly that—their private life.”
