California real estate agent Marco Gutierrez is a member of a very exclusive club–Latinos who love Donald Trump. The founder of Latinos for Trump is of a piece with his candidate in more ways than one. Just like Trump, he never met a stereotype he didn’t like–as evidenced when he declared a Hillary Clinton presidency would result in “taco trucks on every corner” of this country. And like the Donald, he’s a full-on crook with a history of shady deals and outright fraud.

Well, it turns out that Gutierrez had already made himself look like a fool long before he wrung his hands about taco trucks. A few days before his now-infamous appearance on MSNBC, Samantha Bee and her team at TBS’ “Full Frontal” took a gander at some of his YouTube videos. They decided to send a crew to California to have a chat with him. Watch the results here.

Gutierrez told “Full Frontal’s” Mike Rubens that the American people should be afraid of Latinos. Very afraid. Why? Well, according to Gutierrez, Hispanics are “a primitive and underdeveloped culture” that will “take whatever we can take if you let us.” When Rubens asked if that meant we should be wary of Mexicans, Gutierrez didn’t hesitate before saying, “Yes, you should be very frightened.”

Gutierrez still lives in a huge house, even though he lost much of his fortune when the real estate bubble burst and was forced to surrender his real estate license. That comes as cold comfort to some of his victims. Rubens spoke with the lawyer for one of them, Noah Zinner. He said that Gutierrez deliberately went after “vulnerable people” and offered them “bogus mortgage help”–then pocketed the money and tried to sue anyone who complained into silence.

Rubens revealed something that most of us in Liberal America already know. Gutierrez has been declared a vexatious litigant by the state of California due to his numerous frivolous lawsuits. Incredibly, Gutierrez considers this a badge of honor. According to him, Hispanics consider being labeled a vexatious litigant a sign of respect. Really? So being effectively told you can’t represent yourself in any legal action without permission is a badge of honor.

Incredibly, Gutierrez considers himself “a new Donald Trump.” Considering his shady history and his 14 bankruptcies, the comparison is very apt. However, when Rubens asked him if he ever feared learning Trump was a scammer, the usually bombastic Gutierrez froze and wilted before finally saying “no.” Almost as incredibly, he likened Trump to Jesus Christ because just like Jesus, Trump “made a movement where nobody liked him.”

Apparently, the Trump campaign–or at least, one of the few people at the Trump campaign who doesn’t have his head up his rear end–decided it doesn’t like him either. Campaign spokesman Jon Cordova told Vox that Gutierrez “is NOT a surrogate for the Donald Trump campaign and only represents his own views.”

Gee, it took the Trump campaign two weeks to realize that a guy who promotes stereotypes and has been exposed as a crook isn’t someone you want speaking for them? Then again, that’s to be expected from a campaign that twiddles its thumbs at alt-right thugs who spew anti-Semitic bile in Trump’s name.
