GOP Consultant Calls Miss Universe A Venezuelan Tart (VIDEO)

Republican pundits are gathering around Donald Trump after audio leaked where he mentioned that he wanted to grab a woman by her female anatomy– and one of these Republicans was This Week panelist Mary Matalin. Just like former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, she proposed a lackluster excuse as to why Trump used derogatory language during the 2005 sound byte. She explained that Trump was simply in a situation where he was having a private conversation about “sex he’s not getting” – whatever that means.

Matalin then went on the offense, attacking Miss Universe Alicia Machado, a former contestant who had a harrowing experience with Trump where he called her out of her name, including “Miss Piggy.” Matalin went ahead and called Machado a “Venezuelan tart.”

Members of Trump Campaign Do Not Represent American Values, Sorry

Matalin represents a now growing line of Republican consultants and Trump campaigners who have taken the practice of habitually attacking Americans and constantly defending Trump for his demeaning rhetoric against almost every type of human possible. Mike Pence is Trump’s vice president pick, but to many he is the “defender in chief” who spends an exorbitant amount of time on the campaign trail defending Trump and his tactics. Fulfilling his job description, Pence alluded to Trump’s contempt against political correctness, noting that Trump is “fun to watch.”

Trump’s self-harm is starting to peeve the Republican Party. It seems like the longer Trump is on his presidential campaign, the more Republicans run away and disassociate themselves from him. In the past two days, major party members pulled their support for Trump entirely. These party members include Idaho Senator Mike Crapo, New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte, and former United States Secretary Condoleeza Rice.

At this point, no one should be surprised by remarks made by Matalin or other GOP pundits. One wonders – what has happened to the Republican Party?
