Melania Trump Wears ‘Pussy Bow’ To Support Republican Husband At Second Presidential Debate (TWEETS)

Melania Trump, wife of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, wore a Gucci blouse named a “pussy bow” to the second presidential debate against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

The choice of outfit comes just a few days after a recording of her husband revealed his inability to control himself around beautiful women. Trump claimed that his fame allows him the freedom to treat women as he sees fit, telling a reporter to:

“Grab them by the pussy; you can do anything!”

Now, Melania Trump is jumping on the band wagon.

Pussy-Bow

Despite Trump facing an eruption of criticism for his 2005 conversation with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush, Melania chose the Gucci blouse for Sunday night’s debate.

The blouse retails for $1,100 on the website Net-A-Porter.com. The website’s editors say:

“Pussy-bow shirts are one of Gucci’s signature silhouettes. New for Pre-Fall ’16, this fuchsia style is cut from silk crepe de chine for a languid drape. We think it’s a chic way to elevate office or weekend looks.”

According to Snopes, the pussy-bow is an established style, which features a tie at the neck of the shirt. This can be styled in different ways to fit the choice of the wearer.

Melania Trump wore matching fuchsia slacks with the blouse.

Intentional Or Not?

A campaign spokesperson has reportedly told CBS News journalist Sopan Deb, that the fashion choice was not intentional.

It is unknown whether the decision to wear the shirt was that of Melania Trump herself, or a stylist.

The aspiring First Lady was quickly called out by Twitter users as to her fashion statement.

Many Twitter users assumed that the choice was a mistake, comparing it to the speech plagiarized by Melania earlier this year.
