After the long, tumultuous debate on Wednesday, Eric Trump and his wife Lara stopped by In-And-Out for some food where Eric was photographed drinking lemonade from a free water cup, sending the internet into a flurry.
At first, it just looks like two spoiled Trump kids enjoying a quick bite and what looks like a glass of water.
Just a little water for Eric.
A little photo op with some adoring fans.
Wait…Eric is that lemonade in your cup? Is the Trump campaign going so poorly you have to steal lemonade now?
The guy with Eric in the picture is named Grant, who didn’t even realize he was at the scene of the crime. Grant’s friend, David Winkelman told Buzzfeed:
“I posted it because it’s funny to me and seemed harmless. But at this point in the campaign trail, being well aware of our actions as Americans and children of a presidential candidate is becoming more important than ever.”
Since Winkelman posted the picture, it has been retweeted over 8,000 times and the responses have been absolutely hilarious.
Winkelman responded with laughter when talking about how this single photo encapsulates the entire election. He stated:
“My friend is a Trump supporter and was happy to have this photo. He says Eric seemed like a down to earth guy and now this photo my friend was happy about has become ammo in the anti-Trump machine.”
Let’s hope The Donald has some kind of sweet rebuttal for his lemonade thieving son.
