Surprise – the recently reopened investigation into Hillary Clinton and her emails has found absolutely nothing to incriminate her on. The FBI came to the conclusion in July that no charges were warranted in the case of Clinton and her use of a private email server. James B. Comey is the main mastermind that has relaunched the investigation on October 28, with him supposedly finding 650,000 new emails on Huma Abedin’s spouse’s laptop. Abedin is one of Clinton’s aides.
James Comey Goes Rogue
Comey seems to be a wannabe starlet – he was the one who prosecuted Martha Stewart, adamantly opposed former President George W. Bush officials, and even had past brush ins with Clinton. The email fiasco is actually the third time that Comey encountered the Clintons. In the mid-1990s, Comey dug into allegations that the Clintons were the masterminds behind a fraud case connected to an Arkansas real estate deal gone bad. While a federal prosecutor in a separate case in 2002, Comey took over a federal inquiry that involved Bill Clinton and a dubious financier.
Many are accusing Comey of trying to do some kind of political stunt to sway any kind Clinton support and to ultimately help Donald Trump in his quest to become president. If there is any doubt that Comey is just a hack that was just trying to bolster Trump’s ratings, then it’s pretty damn clear since he put a Trump-Pence sign in front of his front lawn.
Some are thinking that Comey buckled under the Clinton campaign, being too afraid to prosecute Clinton. What do you think? Is this email server fiasco unfounded?
