WATCH Michelle Obama Receive Her Last White House Christmas Tree (VIDEO)

The last official White House Christmas tree of the Obama administration, arrived on Friday and was received by the ever gracious First Lady, Michelle Obama.

A 19-foot Balsam-Veitch Fir grown in Oconto, Wisconsin at the Whispering Pines Tree Farm was delivered by horse and carriage to the White House and presented by Dave and Mary Vander Velden, the 2016 winners of the National Christmas Tree Association contest. The National Christmas Tree Association has given the White House Christmas tree since 1966.

Dave and Mary, along with the FLOTUS Mrs. Obama, her two nephews Austin and Aaron Robinson, and the two first dogs Bo and Sunny, the official White House Christmas tree was welcomed with excitement and open arms.

Though typically Sasha and Malia, along with the two dogs accompany the First Lady during this festive tradition, Mrs.Obama joked about having two teenagers and presented her nephews who looked more than excited to be there.

The rare cross between a Fraser Fir and Veitch Fir, which left Tuesday from Wisconsin and arrived Friday, will go on display in the Blue Room of the White House.
