Trump Claims He Will Curb Conflicts Of Interest For The Presidency – But Would He? (VIDEO)

President-Elect Donald Trump announced via Twitter that he plans on leaving the world of business to fully focus on the world of politics. Trump plans on passing the torch to his adult children Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Trump Jr., or so he claims.

The real estate mogul makes it clear that though he is not mandated to do this under law, he:

“…Feels it is visually important, as President, to in no way have a conflict of interest” with his many businesses

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that he was not “ready to reveal” whether the move would mean Trump removing himself from the business completely, or just handing it over to his adult children.

Priebus also went on to discuss plans on being the best president he can be:

And Donald Trump, our new president, is going to spend every hour, every minute of the day making America proud of where we’re going and making America great again, “

Though there are no legal penalties if he hands his business empire to his children, some may mention that it raises ethnically issues, one of them including Gary Hufbacuer, a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics to NBC News

There’s not the same degree of ignorance you would have with a blind trust,”

Hufbauer emphasized saying it is hard to imagine Trump not knowing what’s going on within the business, since he has such close connections within the business. Some examples include the money flow within the business, what’s doing on, business deals, etc.

The Trump Organization business ventures include real estate management, construction, entertainment, and much more.
